This beautifully restored old mill is located next to a tributary of the Ave River, surrounded by beautiful rural landscapes close to the village of Taíde, 7 kms from the city of Póvoa de Lanhoso, where you will find restaurants, shops, a large weekly market and all the local amenities. Braga, one of the oldest and most historic towns in Portugal, is 25kms away and a little further away is the magnificent Peneda-Gerês National Park. The Watermill is a holiday villa on the Costa Verde of exceptional charm, with some unique details and quite romantic, including original materials and relics from the historic past of the old mill. The interiors mix a delightful fusion of contemporary and rustic styles between the main house and the excellent studio located 15 meters away next to the waterfall. The open-plan living area has an antique dining table next to patio doors leading to the private gardens and pool, and some steps lead to a cozy sitting room with a fireplace, TV and balcony overlooking the river below . The watercourse that passes beneath the building has been preserved and through a window with a glass floor it has a magical effect when illuminated.
 The kitchenette opens onto a charming terrace with inspiring views, whilst an open staircase ascends to two elegantly rustic en-suite bedrooms, one twin and one double. The studio suite has a discreetly sophisticated, almost alpine style, with wooden floors and walls, contemporary furniture and a bedroom area with a full-width window and a balcony with direct views of the beautiful surrounding countryside.
 The Watermill and Estúdio Cascata are independent and each have their own pool, but can be rented to a larger group or families.
